Biels In Brazil: Dad Sitting Against the Wall

Welcome! Bemvindos!

Biels in Brazil documents some of the experiences my family had during our mission years in Brazil from 1962-1980. My father was an amateur photographer and had a dark room in our house and my Aunt recently returned letters that my mother had written during that period.

Although the blog springs from our experience, it would be nice to include others from that same time period, providing a unique snapshot of a special time and place in Brazil's history.
If you have photos or stories from that time period you that would like to submit, you are welcome to send them to me.

And, of course, we would all enjoy reading your comments! You might be able to identify people in the photos or add more context to the stories told.

Biels no Brasil começa com os slides que o meu pai tirou quando nós moramos no Brasil, de 1962-1980. Uma tia tambem recentemente develoveu as cartas que a minha mae escreveu durante este tempo. Use o botao na coluna a direita do blog para traduzir as partes em Ingles. Embora imperfeito, da para entender em Portugues o conteudo do texto.
